TRAINING PLAN:

Project Work will ensure that all its staff and direct service volunteers, who provide services to
the public receive training of the agencies customer service policies, practices and procedures.
New employees will receive training within 3 weeks of hire and before they are cleared to work
with participants one-on-one.
Training will include the following:

A review of the Act and the purpose and requirements of the Customer Service Standard.
How to interact and communicate with persons with various disabilities.
How to interact with persons with disabilities who use assistive devices, guide dog or other
service animal or Support Person.
What accommodations can be made is a person with a disability has difficulty accessing our
program and services.
